A method for bubble volume measurement under constant flow conditions in gas–liquid two-phase flow
Measuring the volume of a bubble, especially at its detachment, is a basic subject in gas-liquid two-phase flow research. A new indirect method for this measurement under constant flow conditions is presented. An electronic device is designed and constructed based on laser beam intensity. This device calculates the frequency of the bubble formation by measuring the total time of the formation p...
متن کاملModified frame algorithm and its convergence acceleration by Chebyshev method
The aim of this paper is to improve the convergence rate of frame algorithm based on Richardson iteration and Chebyshev methods. Based on Richardson iteration method, we first square the existing convergence rate of frame algorithm which in turn the number of iterations would be bisected and increased speed of convergence is achieved. Afterward, by using Chebyshev polynomials, we improve this s...
متن کاملConvergence Ball Analysis of a Modified Newton’s Method Under Hölder Continuous Condition in Banach Space
A modified Newton’s method which computes derivatives every other step is used to solve a nonlinear operator equation. An estimate of the radius of its convergence ball is obtained under Hölder continuous Fréchet derivatives in Banach space. An error analysis is given which matches its convergence order. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: 65B05, 47817, 49D15
متن کاملMODIFIED K-STEP METHOD FOR SOLVING FUZZY INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS
We are concerned with the development of a K−step method for the numerical solution of fuzzy initial value problems. Convergence and stability of the method are also proved in detail. Moreover, a specific method of order 4 is found. The numerical results show that the proposed fourth order method is efficient for solving fuzzy differential equations.
متن کاملA Modified Azimuth Weighting Method in a Two-Step Process Approach for Sliding Spotlight Data Processing
Low sidelobes are important and essential in all SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images, regardless of the imaging mode, for fewer artificial targets. For strip-map mode all targets overlap in frequency, which is convenient to suppress sidelobes. However, weighting requires total overlap in the time or frequency domain, which a sliding spotlight signal could not satisfy. Furthermore, the wavelen...
